We are looking to grow our distribution capability by bringing in a Senior Director, Content Distribution who will have the ability to leverage the company’s IP across all platforms, whether digital or linear, in a number of key international markets.

You will be responsible to maximize revenues through leveraging our IPs, with sales to linear & digital platforms, including distribution to free-to-air, cable, and satellite networks and all VOD platforms including subscription (SVOD) and ad-supported digital businesses (AVOD).

You will distribute Animaj’s content portfolio driving brand awareness and revenues from local, regional, global linear and digital players. You will work with potential partners to identify ways to drive a compelling consumer experience that surpasses competitors and provides optimal revenue opportunities across all screens.

You will report directly to the SVP, Global Head of Distribution & Consumer Products.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an autonomous leader to drive and execute the agreed content distribution strategy in the international markets you’re in charge of.

  • Initiate, negotiate, and close distribution deals for rights to Animaj IPs with Broadcast/Cable/Satellite networks, and streaming platforms throughout a variety of business models.

  • Establish and enhance relationships with international broadcasters, streaming platforms and C-TV manufacturers, with the intention of maximizing potential sales of the company’s IP.

  • Work with the SVP, Global Head of Distribution & Consumer Products to achieve set targets, adjusting pricing and windows as necessary; reviewing bundles, title selections, and marketing efforts; and track performance. Achieve the annual sales forecasts.

  • Implement bundle strategies that include everything from individual program sales, to branded blocks, all with an eye to maximizing revenue opportunities.

  • Inform customers of upcoming Animaj’s events, programs and services.

  • Follow up with clients on requests and coordinate solutions to contract/distribution issues where required.

  • Create and maintain a strong working relationship with clients and other related parties. Following up with clients to maximize product placement, ratings, and promotional opportunities.

  • Attend relevant industry markets to ensure the company’s interests and objectives are properly represented, including some travel.
