Job Summary: The Solution Engineer will provide pre-sales and post-sales support to Account Executives (AEs) and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and ensure seamless solution design and implementation for BlueCargo’s freight audit services. The ideal candidate is a technically proficient, customer-facing professional capable of working collaboratively across teams to deliver tailored solutions and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Sales Support:
- Partner with AEs to qualify potential clients, understand their requirements, and deliver tailored demonstrations.
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert during the sales process, addressing technical questions and facilitating client understanding.
- Assist in building a robust pipeline and contribute to closing deals through strategic, technically informed discussions.
- Solution Design & Implementation:
- Design end-to-end solutions that align with customer needs and BlueCargo’s technical capabilities.
- Collaborate with sales, customer success, and engineering teams to ensure that customer solutions are implemented effectively.
- Provide feedback on solution feasibility and propose adjustments as needed for alignment with client expectations.
- Post-Sales Engineering Support:
- Work closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to support onboarding and ensure implementations match initial designs.
- Lead technical reviews and ensure clients are prepared for upgrades and additional solutions.
- Conduct follow-up demos for new product features and upgrades with CSMs to reinforce client engagement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Liaise between sales, engineering, and customer success teams to align project deliverables and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Gather feedback on customer needs and trends to aid product improvement and development.
- Enablement
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a solution engineering or pre-sales engineering role.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to translate complex technical concepts for varied audiences.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to handle dynamic requirements.
- Experience with logistics or supply chain solutions is a MUST.
- Technical acumen in software and systems integration.
- Proficiency in collaborating across sales, engineering, and customer success teams.
