Backend Solutions Engineer (EDI + Django + AWS)

Location: Fully Remote — Must be based in Vancouver, BC

We’re looking for a Backend Solutions Engineer with expertise in EDI integrations, Django/Python, and a working knowledge of AWS to join our growing team. You’ll work closely with sales, engineering, and customer success to design seamless integrations, onboard customers, and provide backend engineering support.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead EDI integrations and onboarding for new customers.
  • Build and manage API + EDI-based data workflows.
  • Run Django management commands for migrations, syncing, and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and support data backfills.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, and engineering teams to deliver client-ready solutions.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years in backend solution engineering or integration roles.
  • Proven experience with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and logistics data flows.
  • Strong Python + Django skills.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Lambda, ECS, etc.).
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and backend integration patterns.
  • Experience in logistics, freight audit, or supply chain solutions is mandatory.
  • Must be based in Vancouver, BC (remote role).
