About Brellium
Brellium's mission is a big one – to improve the standard of care across the US healthcare system. We’ve built AI-powered technology that helps healthcare providers deliver safer, higher-quality care - starting with the first real-time medical review platform built to fix clinical and compliance risks before they impact patients.
Each year, 1 in 20 people in the U.S. experiences a medical diagnostic or compliance-related mistake. Most providers lack the time, staffing, and tools to mitigate these issues - so they go unnoticed, impacting care quality and increasing clinical and financial risk.
Brellium is building the AI-powered platform that helps providers deliver safer, more consistent care by mitigating risk early and aligning patient visits with clinical best practices. Our goal is to give every provider in the U.S. the tools to deliver clinically excellent, data-driven care - at scale.
Brellium was founded in 2021. Since then, we’ve grown to serve over 250,000 providers across all 50 states who use Brellium to take better care of their patients and ensure data-driven, compliant care. We’re a Series A company with over $30MM in funding from First Round Capital, Left Lane Capital, and Menlo Ventures.
This Role Might Be For You If:
You are an experienced accounting leader who enjoys owning the financial backbone of a growing company. You thrive in environments where accuracy, rigor, and accountability matter, and you are comfortable balancing day-to-day execution with longer-term process improvement. You enjoy partnering closely with finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, and you bring an independent, thoughtful point of view to financial decision-making. You are motivated by roles with meaningful ownership and the opportunity to build scalable systems as the business grows.
What You’ll Do
As Controller, you will own Brellium’s accounting operations and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance as the company scales. Financial Controls, Compliance & Audit
Design, implement, and improve accounting processes and internal controls to support scale and compliance
Manage local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings
Lead Brellium’s first external financial statement audit, including preparation of workpapers and coordination with auditors
Maintain strong compliance with U.S. GAAP and other applicable accounting standards
Cross-Functional & External Partnership

Partner closely with the VP of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, board materials, investor reporting, and ad hoc financial analyses
Provide clear, proactive insights into financial performance, trends, and variances to internal stakeholders
Team & Systems Leadership
Manage and develop internal and external accounting resources
Evaluate, implement, and optimize accounting systems and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
You’ll Be Great for This Role If You:
Have significant accounting experience in high-growth, small-team environments, ideally in SaaS
Bring deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls; CPA strongly preferred
Have hands-on experience managing monthly close, audits, and complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition and stock-based compensation
