Plus, we see the value of camaraderie and genuinely enjoy our time together.</span> </em> </strong> </p> <p> <strong> <em>Meet your team</em> </strong> </p> <p> <span style="font-weight:400;">The VP of Choco’s Strategic Finance and FPA teams will play a key role in developing and executing the overall company strategy, long-term financial planning, data-driven business performance management and MA initiatives while ensuring timely decision-making in our executive team.</span> </p> <p> <span style="font-weight:400;">As VP of Strategic Finance and FPA, you will take on and build out strategic analysis across multiple product lines, geographies, monetisation initiatives and competitive landscapes. You will report directly to the CFO with very high visibility across the organization.</span> </p> <p> <strong> <em>What you will do</em> </strong> </p> <ul> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Building and developing dynamic and scalable investor-facing financial models and internal finance reportings.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Analysing monthly results, leading indicators and KPIs to support monthly forecasting and the annual plan.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Overseeing company reporting dashboards and documents including Board and management presentations.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Providing commercial analysis, developing growth targets, and evaluating strategic initiatives.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Design, automate and optimize scalable processes and systems in Strategic Finance and FPA.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Work directly with the CFO and executive leadership to drive company-wide strategic initiatives.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Partner with cross-functional leaders to create detailed business cases to evaluate and support decision-making through financial data.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Spread accountability and financial discipline throughout the organization.</span></li> </ul> <p> <strong> <em>What we’re looking for</em> </strong> </p> <ul> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">You have 8+ years of relevant work experience within a highly analytical role in a cross-functional, fast-paced, data-driven environment.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">4+ years of work experience at a leading investment bank or a leading Growth/PE fund.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Exceptional Excel/financial modelling skills including valuation, MA and capital markets experience.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Experience communicating and building relationships with cross-functional partners.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Strategic thinker to drive analysis, change and decision-making capabilities.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Strong leadership skills to inspire trust across the organization and provide mentorship to the Junior team.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Ability to work well in a dynamic environment and exhibit flexibility.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Prior experience at a publicly-traded company is a plus.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Relevant Bachelor, Master or MBA degree completed.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Highest ethical standards, integrity, authenticity, credibility, and character.</span></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"> <p><strong>About Choco</strong></p> <p>Choco was founded in Berlin in 2018 and has since expanded to a team of over 400 committed Chocorians working from Choco offices in the US, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, the UK, and Spain.
