The Mission

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our core cross-functional squads — 8 engineers across mobile, web, and backend — focused on building high-impact customer-facing products in the e-commerce domain.

This is not a maintenance role. You’ll inspire a team, build trust with some amazing people, and bring clarity, energy, and consistency to day-to-day execution. You’ll be a true partner to your PM and operate with full ownership — from delivery velocity to team health and tech quality.

This is a role for someone who leads from the front, drives with urgency, and builds teams that execute with autonomy and ambition.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and unblock a cross-functional squad of 8 engineers (mobile, web, backend)

• Partner tightly with Product and Design to drive outcomes, not just outputs

• Set a clear pace: define focus, protect time, and ship reliably

• Build team trust and culture, hire and develop top engineers

• Keep your hands close to the work — technical depth and product feel matter

• Communicate with clarity and context

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience leading engineering squads in high-velocity environments

• Strong technical background (e.g. former IC or technical lead)

• Clarity on what great engineers look like — and how to hire and grow them

• Track record of building trust fast and raising team performance

• Comfortable with ambiguity, risk, and making calls without a playbook

• Startup mindset: full ownership, urgency, adaptability

Our engineering teams work with a modern, scalable stack:

• Backend: NodeJS, TypeScript, NestJS framework, GraphQL, AWS DynamoDB, PostgreSQL.

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, micro frontends, Jest, Styled Components.

• Mobile: Kotlin, Swift, GraphQL with AppSync.

• Infrastructure: Hybrid model with AWS serverless (SNS, SQS, Lambda, AppSync), containerized architecture (EKS/Kubernetes), AWS CDK, and Helm.
