<div> <p>The Senior Artist role will report to the Director of Design.</p> <p><br></p> <p>This is a key role responsible for executing print research, development, and embellishments at the highest caliber for the Sam Edelman, Rebecca Minkoff and Diane Gilman Brands. This candidate must have strong creative skills, technical expertise, and the ability to create prints and embellishments that align with the brand's unique POVs while capturing key fashion trends for each season.</p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p> <p><br></p> <ul> <li>Execute seasonal print concepts that align with brand evolution and positioning.</li> <li>Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform print development.</li> <li>Ensure timely calendar adherence for deliverables and be solution-oriented to problem-solve any calendar or delivery obstacles to prioritize business deliverables.</li> <li>Proactively ideate future print design concepts for consideration of advanced development.</li> <li>Create and spec highly customized embellishments for all knit, woven, and denim styles.</li> <li>Maintain organized print archives and seasonal records.</li> <li>Create comprehensive production packages and communicate with overseas partners. </li> <li>Evaluate print and embellishment strike-offs and communicate revisions to overseas vendors. </li> <li>Prepare executed work and present it to leadership. </li> <li>Maintain established print studio relationships and schedule seasonal appointments. </li> <li>5+ years experience </li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p>Advanced Adobe skills </p> <ul> <li>Illustrator and Photoshop required.</li> <li>Proficiency in AI Design, or the ability to learn it quickly. </li> <li>Passion and an eye for elevated design.</li> <li>NEDGraphics a plus </li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><strong>Core Skills</strong></p> <p><br></p> <ul> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented.</li> <li>Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and work well in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Excellent knowledge of the luxury market, materials, and construction.</li> <li>Passion for and understanding of the high end fashion brand aesthetic.</li> <li> Knowledge of textile repeats and print and embroidery techniques.</li> </ul> <p></p> </div>
