Senior Analytics Engineer
Everlab is pioneering the next era of healthcare proactive, personalised, and, most importantly, accessible to all.
We usually respond within a week
Everlab is an Australian Healthtech startup that is building the platform to look after people’s health for their entire lives. It’s not just an app; it’s the infrastructure to connect every available healthcare service to give you comprehensive data on your health to provide personalised care.
We’ve had a 23x increase in revenue since our Seed round raise of $15m in June 2025 making this an exciting time to join as our team. We work with immense amounts of data across a variety of modalities, including diagnostic radiology, pathology, and our ecosystem of partners and operational systems.
As we scale, the ability to turn that data into clear insight is becoming one of our most important capabilities. This role is a combination of Data & Analytics Engineering with BI for those that like variety and have a breadth of skills.
This is a full-time role, with 2 to 3 days per week in-office (Surry Hills, Sydney).
About the Role
This is a varied role for an exceptional Senior Data Engineer who can move fluidly between business intelligence and data engineering work. You will build our BI function from early stages including business reporting, data pipelines, and product analytics.
Here are some examples of the types of projects you would work on:
Build business reporting: define the right metrics and segments across the business, build BAU reporting for teams, and give them self-service tools to answer their own questions.
Build product and growth analytics: set up the infrastructure we need to answer business questions from across our product and growth tech stack.
Help train our AI models: we have custom ML models and LLMs powering everything from clinical support systems that help doctors predict interventions and diagnoses, to tools that extract data from outdated documents and formats.
What We're Looking For
Our Data stack is lean at the moment so core skills in Python, SQL and ideally Databricks is ideal to have, combined with experience in building Data & BI infrastructures from scratch.
Proven BI engineer: 5+ years working as a BI engineer across a variety of problems that aren't always engineering ones. This could be building pipelines, wrangling data, or answering business questions.
Truth-seeking: you care about getting the right answers and understanding the nuances of the data you're working with. You push others to find the truth, not the easiest answer, and can quickly get to the 80/20 of a question.
Relentlessly resourceful: you aren't afraid to get in the weeds and know when and how to move fast with limited resources while still thinking strategically. You can find 30-minute solutions to 30-day problems, anticipate and work around obstacles, and deliver results in half the time most competent people think is possible.
Unreasonably high standards: you hold yourself and those around you to standards so high, some think they're unreasonable. Whether it's setting ambitious goals, delighting customers, or scaling operations, you understand that excellence means caring about the details and always raising the bar.
Incredible teammate: you communicate with kindness and enjoy the growth that comes from giving and receiving direct, honest feedback. You acknowledge your mistakes, know when to disagree and commit, and care more about the team being successful than you being right.
Owner: you're motivated by what's best for our customers long term. That means being excited to work on the problems that matter most, never saying "that's not my job", being highly accountable for commitments you make, and taking the initiative to find new ways to progress our mission.
Why it's great to work at Everlabs
Do work that matters: We're building the future of preventive health. Use your skills to prevent disease, improve access to personalised care, and reduce pressure on the health system.

Experience Everlab as a customer: Full access to the Everlab health program, provided after successfully passing probation.
Share in our success: Employee Share Option Plan included as part of your total remuneration. We grow together.
