Marketing & Communications

Melbourne, VIC, Australia · Sydney, NSW, Australia

About the role:

Everlab members sign up for a full year of preventive care, from screening and imaging through to results, a clinical consult, a plan and follow-up. Lifecycle messaging plays a huge role in how people discover Everlab, decide to join, engage with their care and ultimately renew.

You'll own lifecycle marketing across Australia and the UK, starting with our highest-impact commercial journeys: turning interest into members and improving conversion through the funnel. From there your scope expands across the full member lifecycle, covering engagement, retention, renewal and ARPU, and eventually the broader communications and notifications that shape a member's experience of Everlab.

We're looking for someone with 4+ years in lifecycle, CRM or retention as a dedicated function, with deep hands-on Braze experience and a commercial view of what lifecycle is for.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Sydney. Our team works from the office three days per week.

Responsibilities and Scope

Conversion and top of funnel:

  • Own top-of-funnel lifecycle and conversion first, including lead nurture, abandoned journeys, sign-up conversion, re-engagement and the handover from acquisition into membership.

  • Build and optimise the journeys that move prospective members from interest to action, using behavioural signals, segmentation and testing rather than generic email sequences.

  • Partner closely with Acquisition on conversion and the sign-up handover.

Retention and member lifecycle:

  • Own retention, engagement and renewal, spanning activation, results engagement, consult uptake, follow-up completion, member education, renewal and opportunities to grow ARPU.

  • Build the lifecycle architecture end to end: what each moment is for, what we say, through which channel, and what we deliberately don't send.

  • Partner with Product on in-product messaging and Clinical Operations on communications relating to a member's care.

  • Over time, take ownership of the broader member communications ecosystem, including transactional and product notifications across Braze and Knock.

Platform and execution:

  • Own Braze hands-on, including canvases, segmentation, event taxonomy, Liquid, API-triggered journeys, data hygiene and deliverability.

  • Run lifecycle across Australia and the UK with one core architecture and market-specific execution, including different regulatory requirements.

Testing and reporting:

  • Run a rigorous testing program across lifecycle with clear hypotheses, holdout groups and a decision log of what worked, what didn't and what we learned.

  • Report on the metrics that matter: funnel conversion, activation, engagement, renewal, ARPU and channel health.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience: 4+ years in lifecycle, CRM or retention as a dedicated function, ideally in-house at a consumer business with meaningful scale.

  • Commercial: You see lifecycle as a growth lever and can point to journeys you've built that materially improved conversion, retention or revenue.

  • Braze: Deep hands-on experience across canvases, segments, Liquid and event or API-triggered journeys. Iterable, Customer.io or Klaviyo at genuine scale considered if you can make a credible case for picking up Braze quickly.

  • Automation: Experience building sophisticated automations driven by behavioural and operational events, not just linear email sequences.

  • Data: Strong command of your own data across event taxonomy, cohort analysis and SQL or equivalent, without needing someone else to pull every answer.

  • Multi-market: Experience running lifecycle across multiple markets, including knowing where simply copying a journey from one market to another breaks down.

  • Writing: You can write conversion-focused marketing copy as comfortably as thoughtful member communications, and neither sounds like it came from a CRM platform.

  • Nice to have: Experience in a regulated or high-trust category such as health, insurance or financial services. Push, in-app and SMS alongside email. Transactional or product notification tooling such as Knock. Deep knowledge of deliverability, warming and sender reputation.

Working at Everlab:

  • Do work that matters: We're building the future of preventive health. Use your skills to prevent disease, improve access to personalised care, and reduce pressure on the health system.

  • Work-life flexibility: Hybrid working with 3 days in the office, plus flexibility to manage life beyond the 9 to 5 when it matters.

  • Experience Everlab as a customer: Full access to the Everlab health program, provided after successfully passing probation.

  • Share in our success: Employee Share Option Plan included as part of your total remuneration. We grow together.

  • People you'll love working with: A welcoming, mission-driven team of smart, thoughtful people doing meaningful work.
