Social & Content Lead
Evvy
At Evvy, science-backed, shame-free education is core to our mission to close the gender health gap. Our social channels are where this comes to life, using storytelling to destigmatize vaginal health and build a brand that feels both sophisticated and refreshingly authentic.
We're looking for a Social & Content Lead to take Evvy’s presence to the next level — shaping our voice, storytelling, and content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and beyond (where we already speak to 200k+ followers). You’ll also lead our broader content strategy across email and blog, making Evvy the go-to destination for both inclusive health education and culturally relevant brand storytelling.
This role is for someone who lives and breathes digital culture, loves translating complexity into clarity, and gets energized by building community around conversations the world has kept quiet for too long.
Evvy is a primarily in-person team based in NYC. Given the cross-functional nature of this role, our ideal candidate is located in NYC.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and execute Evvy’s content & social strategy — Own our voice and presence across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, email, and blog rooted in brand, cultural relevance and performance. Define where we show up, how we show up, and how we uniquely speak to all our audiences — from patients to providers to researchers.
- Create content that educates, resonates, and activates — Partner with our Designer and TikTok Creator to bring content ideas to life through static & video assets. Leverage a deep understanding of trending formats, platform-native features, and social analytics to grow Evvy’s reach and engagement.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity, always — Collaborate closely with our science and clinical teams to ensure everything we publish is research-backed and medically rigorous. Manage freelance science writers and reviewers as needed.
- Build and manage our content engine — Own the editorial calendar across social, email, and blog, evolving it in real time based on performance, cultural relevance, and community insights. You’ll be the primary writer and strategic messager across the board, but you’ll have support from our design team and TikTok Creator to execute.
- Engage and grow our community — Nurture authentic conversations with our audience, and build partnerships with aligned creators, educators, and brands to expand Evvy’s reach and impact.
- Use data to drive decisions — Track performance across platforms and iterate quickly to improve content effectiveness and audience growth.
- Make scaling seamless — Streamline workflows, manage approvals, and embrace emerging tools (yes, including generative AI!) to help us work faster and more creatively.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in content and social — you’ve built and executed strategy, created high-performing content, and scaled community-led brands.
- Writing is your strong suit, and you’re a meticulous editor — you can nail a brand voice, simplify science without dumbing it down, and make complex topics feel compelling and clear.
- You’re metrics driven and know how to translate brand into social + content growth.
- You’re confident handling scientific and medical content, and you know how to turn complex research into content that’s accurate, digestible, and engaging.
- You’re a strategic thinker and organized doer — you’re equally comfortable brainstorming big ideas and executing the nitty-gritty.
- You’re deeply curious about health, equity, and culture, and you’re energized by Evvy’s mission to close the gender health gap
- Tools you’ll use: Figma, SEO platforms, analytics dashboards, and AI platforms.
Company Benefits:
- Flexible PTO
- Health, dental and vision insurance (premiums covered 100% at the standard tier), and HSA plans available
- $1K learning and development budget per employee
- 401k plan offered (Roth and traditional)
- Monthly company social events
- Paid parental leave
