This position reports directly to our Head of Legal and offers hands-on exposure to strategic legal topics in a fast-growing EdTech environment. You will work across the organization, gaining practical experience in fields of law such as data protection, artificial intelligence, intellectual property, compliance, M&A, B2C and B2B.

The position is for 10-20 hours per week and requires attendance at our office in Berlin at least one day per week.

Your tasks

• Support the Legal team in daily operational tasks
• Legal administration support
• Monitor the Legal & GDPR JIRA boards
• Implement & manage a new vendor management system
• Internal compliance support

Requirements

• Enrolled student in Law, Business Law, Compliance, or a related field
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) for research and text structuring, with clear awareness of data protection limitations
• Strong interest in edtech, regulatory frameworks, and data protection (e.g., GDPR & DSA)
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in German (C2 level)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
