We are looking for a (Sr.) Logistics & Operations Manager to establish our Retail Operations from the ground up, and to direct and manage all daily operations and processes within the logistics function. This role involves ensuring an excellent delivery experience for both our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and Retail customers and laying the groundwork for future geographical and channel expansion. The ideal candidate should be vigilant, hands-on, proactive in communication, and possess an analytical mindset. As HOLY expands geographically, enters retail, and scales to over 100 million in revenue, we are looking for a (Sr.) Logistics & Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and advance the logistics function. This role involves managing our 3PL for smooth delivery, building our retail operation processes from scratch and actively managing them and inter-warehouse logistics, and improving process efficiency along with the delivery experience.
Your main responsibilities in the first 12 months are:
- Retail Operations: Manage the supermarket order process from placement to delivery, coordinate with our 3PL providers, and perform backend tasks such as product creation, partner onboarding, and product and price data maintenance.
- Retail Customer Service: Establish the initial Retail Customer Service, assume daily management of the process, and ensure optimal satisfaction for all retail partners.
- D2C Operations: Serve as the main contact for our 3PLs, monitor inventory, forecast fulfillment volume, solve daily issues, and support product launches.
- Logistics: Manage operations between warehouses with our 3PL, keep track of inventories, plan transfers, communicate with supply chain and market teams, and speed up customs and transfer processes.
- Efficiency and Experience: Work with the Operations function to identify and resolve bottlenecks, enhance processes along the way, and prioritize customer satisfaction by improving their experience and communication.
To succeed in this role, you should have a background in logistics or (retail) operations, a strong hands-on mentality with a bias for action, be a proactive communicator and be able to break down analytical problems and translate them into action and potentially process improvements.
