We are looking for a Head / Director of Finance to lead and expand our finance team, playing a crucial role in our journey to becoming a $100M+ international omni-channel brand disrupting the soft drink industry.

As we continue to grow by adding new sales channels, launching innovative product lines, and entering diverse geographic markets, our operating landscape is becoming increasingly complex. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead key projects to establish and develop our finance team further, ensuring we keep navigating our dynamic environment effectively and position HOLY for sustained success.

We seek a hands-on leader who can manage day-to-day operations while also envisioning and implementing a long-term strategic plan for the finance team while bringing deep financial expertise from previous experience, and maintaining a practical, results-oriented approach.

The main responsibilities for this role include:

• Accounting, Tech Infrastructure & Legal: You'll be responsible for ensuring compliant financial reporting, guiding the implementation of an ERP system from the finance side, managing the financial technology infrastructure, and leading entity management and legal compliance efforts for an international multi-entity business.
  
  
• Cash Flow, Treasury Management & Debt: Develop and execute a strategic financial plan, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize cash flow, working capital, and access to capital while minimizing expenses.
  
  
• FP&A, Budgeting, KPI, and Performance Management: Spearhead the annual budgeting and capital allocation process, develop adaptable forecasts informed by market dynamics, and establish a comprehensive KPI reporting system across departments, offering strategic insights to the executive leadership team.
  
  
• Fundraising & Investor Relations: Assist our founders with fundraising activities, handle investor due diligence, negotiate term sheets, and prepare regular investor reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Leadership, Character, Management Skills:
  • Strong team builder and have a track record of building, motivating, and leading high-performing finance teams.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments and are excellent at setting focus under competing priorities.
  • Expert in balancing long-term strategic thinking with strong execution of daily operations.
  • You are low-ego and focus on supporting the organization rather than controlling it.
  • You are fluent both in English and in German.
    
    
• Cash Flow, Treasury Management & Debt:
  • Strong knowledge of cash flow planning and treasury management.
  • Experience working closely together with functional leads and having a good understanding of cross-departmental needs.
  • Deep understanding of different debt alternatives and good negotiation skills.
    
    
• Accounting, Tech Infrastructure & Legal:
  • In-depth knowledge of building compliant financial reports across multiple countries and entities in accordance with regulations.
  • Experience with implementing an ERP system (or other company-wide systems)
  • Strong legal acumen and a good understanding of corporate laws.
    
    
• FP&A, Budgeting, KPI, and Performance Management:
  • Expert in leading annual budgeting processes.
  • Analytical mindset and capability of developing complex forecast methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of how performance is measured across all departments and able to implement a robust reporting structure.
    
    
• Fundraising & Investor Relations:
  • You have actively supported a Series A/B/C funding round and are aware of all related intricacies.
