Job description
As Supply Chain Manager Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end procurement and supply chain process within Just Russel. You work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to guarantee operational continuity, optimise costs, and safeguard quality.
You play a key role in building a robust and scalable supply chain, from strategic procurement to operational (fulfillment)logistics.
Job requirements
Supply Chain Management
End-to-end management of the supply chain: planning, sourcing, production coordination, logistics, and distribution
Optimise inventory management and stock levels to maximise service levels and minimise costs
Set up and monitor supply chain KPIs (lead time, fill rate, on-time delivery, etc.)
Proactively identify and address risks in the supply chain
Collaborate with production, sales, and finance to align demand forecasts and planning
Supplier Management & Quality
Conduct supplier assessments and continuously monitor performance
Ensure quality and compliance requirements are met by suppliers
Initiate improvement programmes for underperforming suppliers
Strategic Procurement
Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with business objectives
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers; build long-term partnerships
Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and SLAs
Conduct market studies and benchmarks to realise competitive procurement advantages
Manage the procurement budget and report on savings and KPIs
Digitalisation & Process Improvement
Drive continuous improvement projects for our supply chain and fulfillment center (cost reduction, automation, lean, …)
Contribute to the digitalisation of supply chain processes and ERP optimisation
Implement tools and dashboards for real-time supply chain visibility
Team
Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders (sales, operations, finance)
Report to the Operations Lead
Education & Experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain and/or procurement, preferably in an e-commerce environment - consultancy experience is also acceptable
Proven track record in contract negotiations and supplier management
Analytical thinking
Technical knowledge
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies
Familiarity with fulfilment processes: order processing, picking & packing, last-mile delivery, and returns
Knowledge of OMS/WMS systems and integrations with e-commerce platforms
Experience with fulfilment partners (3PL) or in-house warehouse operations is a plus
