Job description

As Supply Chain Manager Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end procurement and supply chain process within Just Russel. You work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to guarantee operational continuity, optimise costs, and safeguard quality.

You play a key role in building a robust and scalable supply chain, from strategic procurement to operational (fulfillment)logistics.

Job requirements

Supply Chain Management

  • End-to-end management of the supply chain: planning, sourcing, production coordination, logistics, and distribution

  • Optimise inventory management and stock levels to maximise service levels and minimise costs

  • Set up and monitor supply chain KPIs (lead time, fill rate, on-time delivery, etc.)

  • Proactively identify and address risks in the supply chain

  • Collaborate with production, sales, and finance to align demand forecasts and planning

Supplier Management & Quality

  • Conduct supplier assessments and continuously monitor performance

  • Ensure quality and compliance requirements are met by suppliers

  • Initiate improvement programmes for underperforming suppliers

Strategic Procurement

  • Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with business objectives

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers; build long-term partnerships

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and SLAs

  • Conduct market studies and benchmarks to realise competitive procurement advantages

  • Manage the procurement budget and report on savings and KPIs

Digitalisation & Process Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement projects for our supply chain and fulfillment center (cost reduction, automation, lean, …)

  • Contribute to the digitalisation of supply chain processes and ERP optimisation

  • Implement tools and dashboards for real-time supply chain visibility

Team

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders (sales, operations, finance)

  • Report to the Operations Lead

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain and/or procurement, preferably in an e-commerce environment - consultancy experience is also acceptable

  • Proven track record in contract negotiations and supplier management

  • Analytical thinking

Technical knowledge

  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies

  • Familiarity with fulfilment processes: order processing, picking & packing, last-mile delivery, and returns

  • Knowledge of OMS/WMS systems and integrations with e-commerce platforms

  • Experience with fulfilment partners (3PL) or in-house warehouse operations is a plus

Languages

  • Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written)
