Global Events Operations Manager - Kings League

We are looking for a Global Events Operations Manager who will be responsible for planning, organizing and executing events to meet the objectives and needs of the organization.

About the Kings League

Created and organized by Kosmos, the Kings League has become a global phenomenon that has revolutionized the way we understand football and sports. A new 7-a-side football league with teams chaired by the world's best streamers and content creators, with revolutionary rules aimed at uniting the best of football with the latest trends in esports and new ways of communicating and understanding the world. In this sense, the Kings League has not only managed to "reimagine the game," but has also elevated sport and entertainment to a new dimension, making it more accessible to all audiences.

Main Responsibilities

This role involves the coordination of all aspects related to events, from planning to post-event evaluation. The person will work closely with various internal and external teams to ensure that events run smoothly and successfully, across different regions and international markets.

  • Plan and coordinate events from start to finish, including location selection, budget management, and overall logistics.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure all aspects of the event are executed as planned.
  • Oversee event access to ensure adequate attendance and effective participation.
  • Manage communication with participants, sponsors, and other stakeholders before, during, and after the event.
  • Coordinate the hiring and supervision of necessary personnel for the event, including vendors, support staff, and security teams.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to events, such as permits and licenses.
  • Evaluate the success of events by analyzing key metrics and participant feedback, and use this information to improve future events.
  • Responsible for evaluating, supervising, contracting, and managing everything necessary for the management of services of the various suppliers that collaborate in the event, before, during, and after the event.
  • Performance evaluation, follow-up of payments, and closing with suppliers, making the pertinent adjustments according to the guidelines established for the event.
  • Involved in the operation of each event, ensuring optimal execution.
  • Contribute to the coordination of Kings League events taking place across different continents, ensuring consistency while adapting to local specificities. International travel is to be expected.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in similar positions.
  • Studies in Industrial Engineering, Communication, or similar fields.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and react quickly and flexibly to changing events in operating conditions
  • Ability to create and maintain a cohesive and positive culture within the team while ensuring that all members know how to reach their goals.
  • Skilled in planning, organization, effective communication, conflict resolution, proactivity, customer focus, empathy, teamwork, and flexibility.
  • Willingness and availability to travel internationally as required throughout the year.
