About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of our customer-facing mobile app with the best practices from the ground up. This is a key position with a high impact on how our members experience their care and benefits.
You will be the technical owner of our app and will work closely with design, product, and other teammates to shape an intuitive, secure, and high-performing experience for older adults and their families.

Requerimientos

Had experience with:
- Fiveish years of mobile app development with React Native or similars
- Structuring components and collaborating on design systems
- Versioning and backwards compatibility
- Fast-paced startup environments
- Accessibility and usability within a mobile context

Bonus points if you have:
- Knowledge and some experience with mobile pipelines and releases
- Has context around bridges and native integrations and is not afraid to get down into the weeds if the situation calls
- Has some experience with automated unit/integration/behaviour/etc tests

Key Outcomes:
- Build, launch, and maintain Koltin’s mobile app using React Native:
-- In a scalable and maintainable manner
-- With analytics and monitoring to understand user behavior and app health
-- Ensuring the app is intuitive and usable for elderly users with limited tech experience no matter the device
- Set up (with help) the initial version of our deployment pipelines for mobile apps
- Collaborate with a more backend oriented teammate aligning APIs contracts and Integrating with backend services considering security, performance, time to market, etc
- Partner our design team to implement and evolve the design system to be used on the app
