Growth

LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South.

Moving to a new country shouldn’t mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live.

What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth.

With over 2 million users across the globe, we process over $1.5B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders shouldn't limit financial opportunity.

The Role

At LemFi, we are expanding into new markets and building culturally relevant growth strategies from the ground up. We’re looking for a Growth Launcher who will drive user acquisition, build community relationships, and establish LemFi’s presence in-market.

This is a highly entrepreneurial, hands-on role where you’ll launch growth initiatives, develop partnerships, and represent LemFi within diaspora communities to accelerate adoption and brand trust.

How You’ll Contribute

  1. User Acquisition

    • Develop and execute user acquisition strategies tailored to your assigned market.

    • Manage a mix of online and offline channels—including social media, events, partnerships, and digital campaigns—to drive new users.

    • Track and optimise acquisition performance using data and insights.

    Community Engagement

    • Lead community-based initiatives to build a strong, engaged user base.

    • Organise and participate in community events, meetups, and cultural activities.

    • Build and manage relationships with key community stakeholders and influencers.

    Partnership Development

    • Identify, pitch, and establish partnerships with relevant businesses, organisations, and community groups.

    • Manage and optimise partnerships to ensure impact and mutual value.

    Market Research & Insights

    • Conduct market research to understand cultural context, user needs, and growth opportunities.

    • Provide insights to product and marketing teams to refine LemFi’s messaging and offerings.

    • Act as the in-market voice of the user within the business.

    Brand Advocacy

    • Represent LemFi with professionalism, clarity, and enthusiasm.

    • Champion our mission, values, and products within the community.

Who You Are

  1. Entrepreneurial: You take initiative, move quickly, and thrive in environments where you are building from scratch.

Action-Oriented: You bias toward doing, testing, and iterating.

Tenacious: You find creative ways to win, even in ambiguous or competitive markets.

Persuasive Communicator: You communicate clearly and can influence partners, users, and community leaders.

Culturally Adaptive: You quickly understand new environments and immerse yourself in local communities.

Data-Driven: You use data to inform decisions and continuously improve outcomes.

Ambitious: Targets motivate you—not intimidate you.

Flexible: Willing to travel and work occasional weekends for events when needed.

    What You’ll Bring

    • 2–4 years of experience in community growth, field marketing, partnerships, or go-to-market roles- preferably in fintech, diaspora communities, or multicultural environments.

    • Strong understanding of Nigerian communities in Germany.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems and drive results.

    • Strong analytical skills and comfort working against targets.

    • Self-motivated with the discipline to work independently in a remote environment.

    The Interview Process

    1. Chat with a Talent Partner – (30 mins)

    2. Technical Interview with Hiring Manager – (45 mins)

    3. Take-Home Case Study – (2–7 days)

    4. Case Study Review Session – (60 mins)
