The Role

As a Quality Assurance Analyst - AML Operations within the Compliance Operations team, you will play a critical role in conducting independent quality reviews of the tasks in AML Operations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal processes, as well as regulatory requirements. Reporting to the AML Operations Team Leader, you will support risk mitigation by identifying gaps, providing feedback and promoting continuous improvement in AML Operations.

You will contribute directly to maintaining strong AML and CFT controls while supporting LemFi’s mission to deliver accessible and trustworthy financial services at scale.

How You’ll Contribute

• Review: Perform quality assurance reviews, which include AML/fraud alerts, transaction monitoring cases, KYC/CDD.

• Assess: Assess investigations for completeness, accuracy, regulatory compliance and adherence to internal procedures.

• Identify: Identify errors, control gaps, and emerging trends in AML processes.

• Document and Report: Document Quality Assurance findings clearly and provide constructive feedback to AML Operations Analysts, as well as assist in preparing Quality Assurance metrics, reports, and trend analysis for management.

• Collaborate & Learn: Work cross functionally and continuously build knowledge of emerging AML typologies, risks, and criminal trends.

What You’ll Bring

One or more years of AMLand/or CDD compliance experience within a fintech, financial institution, or advisory/audit company.

• Hands on experience with KYC reviews, ID verification, enhanced due diligence, sanctions and transaction monitoring alerts.

• Knowledge of AML regulations and frameworks

• Ability to independently assess customer risk and make defensible decisions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to document findings clearly and objectively

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Sheets for QA metrics and reporting.

• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
