The Role
We are looking for a culturally fluent and highly skilled App Performance Marketing Manager to launch and scale our user acquisition efforts for the China Corridor. You will serve as the bridge between LemFi and the Chinese immigrant community in the UK, US, and Canada. Reporting to the Head of Performance Marketing, you will manage high-spend campaigns across standard Western channels while pioneering our presence on Chinese-specific platforms. You will own the strategy for key cultural moments (e.g., Lunar New Year, Red Envelopes) and ensure our brand resonates deeply with the diaspora.
How You’ll Contribute
Growth Strategy & Market Expansion
Own the China Corridor: Drive app install and remittance volume growth specifically targeting Chinese immigrants living in the UK, US, and Canada.
Cultural Localization: Ensure all campaign messaging, creative assets, and value propositions resonate deeply with Chinese culture and language nuances (avoiding "direct translation" pitfalls).
Seasonality Planning: Lead aggressive acquisition strategies around key cultural moments such as Lunar New Year (CNY), Double 11, and Dragon Boat Festival.
Acquisition, Retention & Monetization
Western Platforms: Execute high-performance campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Google App Campaigns, and Apple Search Ads targeting the diaspora.
Chinese Ecosystem: Lead the strategy and execution for Chinese-specific platforms—specifically WeChat (Tencent Ads) and Little Red Book (Xiaohongshu)—to reach the audience where they are most engaged.
Creative Iteration: Work with the creative team to produce high-converting ad concepts that blend fintech trust with cultural relevance.
Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration
MMP Management: Utilize AppsFlyer (or similar) to track post-install events, analyze cohort retention, and optimize for downstream KPIs.
Budget Management: Manage and scale budgets based on rigorous CAC and ROI analysis.
ASO Collaboration: Work on App Store Optimization specifically for Chinese keywords in Western app stores.
Performance, Analytics & Optimization
Data-Driven Optimization: Track and analyze key metrics (Cost Per First Transaction, LTV, ROI) to drive decision-making.
Cohort Analysis: Monitor retention and user behavior to inform downstream marketing strategies.
Experimentation: Continuously test new channels, creatives, and audiences to lower CAC and increase scale.
Who You Are
3+ years in App Performance Marketing, with a proven track record of scaling budgets.
Deep hands-on expertise in Meta and TikTok ads managers.
Solid understanding of the WeChat ecosystem (Official Accounts, Mini Programs) and Little Red Book (Xiaohongshu) marketing dynamics.
Previous experience in remittance, neo-banking, or cross-border payments is a strong plus.
What You Will Bring
Language: Native-level fluency in Mandarin (Simplified & Traditional) and fluent English. You must be able to write compelling ad copy in Chinese.
Diaspora Insight: A deep understanding of the Chinese immigrant experience in the West (UK/US/CA)—you know how they consume media and their financial pain points.
Technical: Strong familiarity with MMPs (AppsFlyer/Adjust) and SKAN attribution.
Analytic Mindset: Ability to manage budgets based on rigorous CAC and ROI analysis.
