Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Email Campaign Manager to join our team and take ownership of managing email communications with our investors while driving high conversion rates. In this role, you will play a crucial part in engaging and nurturing our investor community by delivering compelling, data-driven campaigns that promote our unique investment offerings. A strong understanding of basic HTML coding is essential for creating and optimizing email templates to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Email Communication Management: Develop and traffic targeted email marketing campaigns to engage, educate, and retain our investor base. Implement segmentation strategies based on investor profiles and behaviors to optimize opens and engagement.
  • Campaign Creation and Distribution: Oversee the creation, production, and distribution of our email campaigns to keep investors informed about market trends, investment opportunities, and platform updates. Optimize email templates using basic HTML to ensure high deliverability and performance. Continuously improve newsletter performance through A/B testing and data analysis.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Analyze conversion metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to increase conversion rates across different stages of the investor journey.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track, measure, and report on the performance of email campaigns, newsletters, and conversion rate optimization efforts. Utilize analytics tools and platforms to derive actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in product or product marketing, ideally within the financial or investment industry.
  • Basic proficiency in HTML coding for email template customization.
  • Experience with communication channels like: email, push notification, and SMS messages.
  • General familiarity with conversion rate optimization techniques and strategies.
  • Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail. Quick. Clear. Engaging. You’re able to break down financial and business concepts into clear, easy-to-understand, and enjoyable stories.
  • Comfortable working with data and analytics tools to measure and optimize marketing performance. Experience with email marketing platforms, A/B testing, and data analysis is highly desired.
  • You’ve got an ownership mentality — you’re a team player who cares about the details and does what it takes to make deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and a proactive mindset are critical for success in this role.
  • Experience working with product managers or software engineers is a plus.

Measurements of Success:

  • Within 30 days, setup and execute a weekly run of email campaigns, providing analytical feedback on their performance.
  • Within 60 days, take lead on all communication initiatives including emails and push notifications

How does Masterworks think about compensation?

The compensation range for the role is $75-90k (inclusive only of base salary, and exclusive of other potential competitive benefits such as on-target commission, bonus payments, and equity). Our ranges are very broad to accommodate all types of candidates and encourage growth. Specific compensation offered to a candidate may be dependent on factors such as education, experience, qualifications, and alignment with market data. Exceptional candidates may receive salaries outside of the posted ranges.
