Team Overview

The Sales Operations Manager sits within our Analytics team, reporting into our Director of Marketing Analytics and working closely with Sales Leadership, to ensure that data systems and platforms related to revenue operations are maintained to the highest standard, allowing for accurate, accessible, and applicable information that can be used to drive sales operations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Sales Operations Manager to lead the strategy and execution of all technical and process-driven aspects of Sales Operations. This role will own our HubSpot CRM architecture, reporting frameworks, and sales tooling infrastructure while working cross-functionally to optimize workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and support revenue growth. You’ll act as a key partner to Sales Leadership, translating business goals into operational action and analytics clarity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Systems Architecture & CRM Strategy (≈35%)

  • Lead the design, customization, and ongoing optimization of our HubSpot CRM for a multi-channel sales organization.
  • Build scalable processes for lead assignment, pipeline hygiene, opportunity tracking, and sales team segmentation.
  • Ensure high data integrity through automation, validation logic, and clear user standards.

2. Sales Analytics & Forecasting (≈25%)

  • Build dashboards, reports, and performance tracking tools that provide actionable insights to sales leadership.
  • Maintain forecasting models that accurately project bookings, activity, and conversion rates.
  • Drive pipeline reviews and funnel diagnostics with Sales and Finance leaders.

3. Sales Process Optimization (≈15%)

  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the sales process and deploy solutions using tooling and automation.
  • Standardize sales workflows and define KPIs that align with sales strategy and goals.
  • Partner with enablement (or directly with sales managers) to operationalize best practices.

4. Sales Tooling & Integrations (≈15%)

  • Own the day-to-day performance and configuration of key sales tools: Aircall, Gong, and other platforms used by the team.
  • Develop and maintain API-level integrations and data flows that connect HubSpot to dialers, conversation intelligence, and analytics tools.
  • Ensure tools are reliable, compliant, and aligned to the sales team’s evolving needs.

5. Strategic Partner to Sales Leadership (≈10%)

  • Act as an operational thought partner to the VP of Sales and frontline managers—helping inform territory planning, quota setting, and organizational design.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to advise on infrastructure and tooling impacts.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, with a strong record of impact in high-growth or complex sales environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with HubSpot (or comparable CRM), including deep configuration, reporting, and workflow automation.
  • Strong technical fluency—comfortable working with APIs, Python or Node.js scripts, and relational databases.
  • Demonstrated success improving sales productivity, conversion, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Experience owning dialers (Aircall, Five9), conversation intelligence platforms (Gong), and compliance tooling.
  • Excellent communicator who can translate between sales needs and technical solutions.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., fintech, wealth management, etc.)
  • Familiarity with FINRA/SEC requirements and tools like Global Relay or Neustar.
  • Exposure to B2C or high-volume sales teams.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the US - no exceptions
  • Must be able to work out of our NYC office
