About the Role

As a Maintenance Executive at Moove , you will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring the optimal functioning and upkeep of our assets. Your role will involve overseeing maintenance schedules, conducting inspections, and coordinating repairs to guarantee the safety and reliability of our equipment and facilities. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you will contribute to the seamless operation of our services, upholding Moove's standards of efficiency and quality. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your technical expertise while playing a key role in maintaining our commitment to excellence.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Track telematic units and camera repairs by running weekly reports to identify units not updating and arrange to repair vehicles.
  • Log tickets and schedule Beame repairs with MIX as per Beame weekly report.
  • Attend to all Tracking unit repair booking requests via Freshdesk calls, chats, and e-mails
  • Ensure the latest kilometres are updated on the MIX systems when carrying out repairs.
  • Engage with the CIM team for information on written off vehicles and arrange to remove the MIX units from the written off units.
  • Engage with CIM and Maintenance teams to identify vehicles that will be in for repairs for long periods of time and arrange to temp decommission vehicles for MIX billing.
  • Engage with teams to identify vehicles coming out of repairs to ensure vehicles are commissioned again on the MIX systems.
  • Engage with the CIM team to identify vehicles in impound and arrange to temp decommission vehicles for MIX billing.
  • Track MIX unit stock on old and new units. Order new MIX units when needed if no old stock is available.
  • Capture all tracking unit and camera repairs on the BYNX system.
  • Assist teams in retrieving video footage as and when requested by CS, PE, RISK and CIM teams.
  • Provide weekly updates on all vehicle repairs carried out as well as vehicles booked for repairs.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset with respect to processes and systems to create efficiencies and synergies
  • Assist with AD HOC tasks when required

What You will need for this position

  • Candidate must possess a High School Certificate
  • Minimum requirement: Qualified Motor Mechanic or Auto Electrician or have at least 5 years experience in fitting and diagnosing telematic units.
  • 1-2 years of fleet maintenance experience preferred.
  • Associates or Technical degree in Motor Mechanics would be advantageous
  • Hands-On Fleet Industry Experience is a must
  • Strong customer service and organisational skills required
  • Attention to detail is compulsory
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office; Google Office Suite and web-based applications preferred

Key Metrics

  • Time bound fleet inspection and report generation as per plan checklist (Only if in our Parking lot)
  • Projection preparation for repairs (MIX – Tracking Units)
  • Collation of all data and aligned team to resolve issues Timely closure of Repair complains
  • Handle team of On Road support
  • Coordination with workshop/Surveyor on daily status
  • Daily report on repairs carried out

Directly reporting to our Maintenance Manager, and closely working with our Operations Team.
