About Paytient:
We’re on a mission to help people better access and afford care.
Every day, millions of people, and their loved ones, need to see a doctor. For most of us, that moment is an uncertain one - we’re unsure of what’s wrong, who to go to, how long it’ll take to be seen, when we’ll feel better, and what it’ll cost.
Paytient partners with thoughtful employers and health plans who understand the impact of that moment and want to ensure that every one of their plan members are easily able to access and afford care. Our clients understand that an improved ability to self-pay for care changes patient behavior and creates value for the health plan. This founding belief is becoming an emerging standard of care in health plan design and is now, in fact, a mandatory capability in some governmental health plans. Founded in 2018, Paytient is now part of nearly 6,000 employer health plans and providing certainty that people are better able to access and afford care.
About The Role:
Paytient is looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Member Growth Marketing Manager to help us drive member growth and engagement for our employer and health plan business lines. In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in connecting individuals with our affordability platform, giving them the confidence to say “yes” to care when they need it, not just when they can afford it.
The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic marketer that can work effectively with complex external partners, create and execute winning strategies that drive accelerated member acquisition and utilization, and scale those strategies into playbooks that can be replicated across our book of business by enabling our account teams effectively. This marketer must be able to blend performance marketing rigor and collaborative, scalable strategy to help Paytient reach and help more people than ever before.
What You'll Do Here:
- Member Acquisition: Own and execute a repeatable member acquisition strategy that leverages both Paytient and customer owned channels to meet aggressive growth goals within the business line.
- Client Relationship Building: Ensure Paytient fosters deep strategic relationships with our employer and health plan partners to co-create strategies that advance our ability to reach, engage, and acquire members.
- Lifecycle Management: Influence the member lifecycle team to optimize onboarding, retention, and re-engagement campaigns, ensuring members use the benefits of the Paytient platform throughout their care journey.
Channel Experimentation & Expansion: Develop and execute comprehensive paid and owned acquisition strategies to meet aggressive growth goals, approaching with an explore/expand mindset.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with CS, Product, Brand Marketing, and other teams to ensure marketing efforts align with business objectives and the member experience.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), utilizing insights to refine channel mix, messaging, and budget allocation
About You:
- Experience & Track Record: 8+ years of experience in consumer marketing, growth marketing, or demand generation, ideally within the healthcare, health-tech, or B2B2C space
Customer-facing: You shine in both collaborative and challenging customer-facing situations, and have a track record of finding mutually beneficial solutions to deliver for the business, customer, and end user.
- Operational Expertise: Proficiency in architecting and scaling programs within a major Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) like Iterable, HubSpot, Marketo, or Braze. Significant hands-on experience is required—you must know how to build campaigns flawlessly to design a scalable system for others.
- Acquisition Expert: Deep expertise in managing multi-channel campaigns across email/SMS/push, paid social, search, content marketing, and organic growth levers
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate complex business goals into actionable marketing roadmaps. You thrive on designing scalable systems and solving complex, ambiguous problems. You can set the vision and lead the technical execution of major, cross-functional projects.
- Analytical Rigor: Proficiency with monitoring marketing analytics and a strong ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets
- Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
- Proficiency using SQL in a BI tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
- Previous experience in B2B2C, healthcare tech, or fintech industries.
