About the role

You will join the Finance team as a Finance & Strategy Intern, reinforcing the Finance function and supporting the team on a wide range of strategic and operational topics driven by Riot’s strong growth momentum.
You will work closely with Sylvia, our VP Finance, and gain hands-on exposure to key financial decision-making.

What you will do 🤝

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with direct exposure to how a high-growth SaaS company plans and tracks performance.
• Build and maintain financial models for planning, scenario analysis, and strategic decisions, including models tied to revenue, hiring, and capital allocation.
• Track and analyze SaaS KPIs, surface trends and variances, and help translate financial performance into clear narratives for leadership and investors.
• Partner with teams across the business to improve spending visibility, ROI tracking, and growth metric reporting.
• Help build and improve Finance tools and dashboards, maintain data quality, and run ad hoc analyses to support fast decision-making.

Who you are

• About to graduate from a Master’s degree in finance in a top-tier business/engineering school.
• You are available to start this 6-month internship starting in July or September 2026.
• Internship experiences in Finance, ideally investment banking, corporate finance or FP&A.
• Prior experience building financial models in an operational or corporate finance context from scratch with ambiguous inputs.
• Proactive, self-starter attitude: you want to learn, take initiative, and drive results.
• You know how to work in a fast paced environment and can prioritize.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable working with large data sets.
• Familiarity with AI and SQL or demonstrated willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
