Accounts Receivable Risk Specialist (Remote)

Steno is growing! We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Risk Specialist to join our winning team, which is revolutionizing the court reporting industry every single day. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting DelayPay credit checks, thoroughly vetting information for law firms, and performing skip tracing to locate individuals when needed. You'll play a critical role in managing credit risk while ensuring our clients receive the flexible payment solutions they need.

On a regular basis you will

  • Conduct comprehensive DelayPay credit checks for law firm clients requesting deferred payment options.
  • Vet and verify information provided by law firms during the application process
  • Perform skip tracing activities to locate individuals as needed for collection and verification purposes
  • Analyze credit reports and financial data to assess risk levels
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in Google Sheets and Excel
  • Collaborate with the accounts receivable team to develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Generate reports on credit analysis findings and risk assessments
  • Stay current with credit reporting tools and industry best practices
  • Support collection efforts through research and data analysis
  • Report findings and recommendations to the Director of AR
  • Collaborate with the AR team on ad-hoc projects to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.

You’re gonna crush it if

  • You have experience with skip tracing techniques and tools
  • You're well-versed in credit analysis and interpreting credit reports
  • You're proficient with Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
  • You have experience using credit reporting tools and databases
  • You're highly internet savvy and comfortable navigating various online platforms
  • You have strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • You can work independently while maintaining clear communication with your team
  • You have experience in accounts receivable, collections, or financial risk assessment
  • You understand the legal services industry (preferred but not required)
  • You can handle sensitive financial information with discretion and professionalism
