Steno is growing! We're looking for a Director of Brand to join our winning team, which is revolutionizing the court reporting industry every single day. We're a diverse team from all over the country (and beyond) and we're crazy about redefining the boundaries of an outdated industry.
In this role, you will report to the VP of Marketing and be the strategic storyteller, architect, and guardian of the Steno brand. You will lead the evolution of our visual identity, messaging frameworks, and brand narrative to establish Steno as the premium choice in litigation support and legal technology.
Who are you?

You understand that great brands aren't just about beautiful design—they're about creating consistent, memorable experiences that differentiate us from commodity competitors.
If you're looking for a company that offers support, guidance, an abundance of killer giphys, and unlimited potential to grow into your best self, you can bet we'd love to have you too.
On a regular basis you will

- Manage cross-functional teams: Lead editorial, design, social media, and PR/thought leadership functions with clear accountability and measurable outcomes
- Drive brand consistency across all touchpoints: Audit and overhaul digital experiences (website, content hub, emails, ads) and physical brand moments (events, swag, collateral) to create cohesive premium experiences
- Scale creative operations: Implement scalable processes, templates, and systems that allow Marketing to support expanding sales teams and product lines without bottlenecks
- Collaborate strategically: Partner with Integrated Marketing, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, and GTM teams to translate business priorities into compelling brand experiences and narratives
- Establish brand performance metrics: Define and track brand health indicators including consistency audits, engagement metrics, brand lift studies, and creative output quality at scale
- Champion thought leadership and PR: Manage external communications, media relations, and executive visibility programs to position Steno as an industry innovator
- Foster team culture: Build collaborative, hospitality-minded culture within the brand team while scaling from execution-focused to strategically-mature organization
You’re gonna crush it if
