In this role, you will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting while supporting critical accounting operations across the organization. - Work closely with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure accurate cash application, proper transaction classification, and timely reconciliations.
- Collaborate with AP to support the company’s expense reimbursement process and Ramp corporate card program, ensuring policy compliance and accurate expense coding.
- Prepare audit schedules and documentation, assist with state and local tax filings, and help maintain adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
- Generate recurring and ad hoc financial reports and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Proactively research and resolve accounting issues, manage assigned areas independently, and identify opportunities to improve processes or controls.
You’re gonna crush it if
- You have 2–4 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting.
- You have a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles.
- You are highly proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and advanced formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH).
- You have experience with modern accounting systems such as Bill.com, Ramp, Campfire, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct.
- You are extremely detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- You communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- You are motivated to solve accounting challenges and improve processes independently.
- You are a CPA candidate or have an interest in pursuing a CPA (a plus).
- You have a background in public accounting (a plus).
