Talkiatry is seeking a strategic and data-driven Director of Lifecycle Marketing to lead our patient lifecycle marketing strategy and execution. You’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing the patient experience, driving new patient acquisition, and fostering education around mental health care. Reporting directly to the VP, Growth Marketing, you will oversee a team of lifecycle marketers while collaborating cross-functionally to help us increase access to high-quality mental health care. The
ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a proven track record in lifecycle marketing for high-growth consumer brands, coupled with a passion for making an impact in mental healthcare.
About Talkiatry:
Talkiatry transforms psychiatry with accessible, human, and responsible care. We’re a national mental health practice co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality treatment.
60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low and paperwork is unduly burdensome. With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine.
You will:
- Develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies to acquire new patients, improve appointment attendance, and deliver educational content on mental health and psychiatry
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of lifecycle marketing while collaborating with cross-functional partners across Marketing Ops, Data, Product, Creative, and more
- Elevate lifecycle marketing efforts through proactive testing roadmaps, enhanced automation, active management of deliverability, and full utilization of our Iterable suite
- Regularly analyze and report on program performance to stakeholders, sharing actionable insights to refine strategies and drive results
- Ensure all lifecycle marketing initiatives comply with HIPAA regulations and prioritize patient privacy
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in consumer lifecycle marketing, email and SMS, with a history of accelerating business growth
- 3+ years of team management experience, combining stragegic leadership with a player-coach mentality
- Deep experience in Iterable and a solid understanding of lifecycle marketing tools, systems, and emerging trends
- Strong analytical skills, with deep experience in A/B testing and a high level of proficiency in SQL and BI tools (e.g. Looker, Thoughtspot, Mode, Tableau) and the ability to use data from a variety of sources to inform strategic decisions
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and team-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to constant change and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for driving meaningful growth that increases access to mental healthcare
- Bonus points if you have experience in healthcare or highly regulated industries, with an understanding of privacy regulations and patient data protection and/or growth-stage startup experience
