The Marketing Project Manager is focused on driving initiatives from inception to successful completion. In this role you will collaborate cross-functionally to bring order to chaos, execute project plans while ensuring timely delivery and great communication, and work with your partners to deliver high-quality results.
Project Planning and Execution
- Develop and execute marketing project plans, ensuring alignment with Tovala's strategic goals.
- Drive initiatives from concept through execution to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Develop project timelines, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Write user stories and test plans, then manage the test plans for successful project launches.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with the growth and creative teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives with Tovala’s PMO and internal teams.
- Provide regular project updates to Tovala stakeholders.
Resource Management
- Align resources to prioritized initiatives.
- Allocate and manage resources, including the growth, creative, SW, and 3rd party teams.
- Identify and resolve any resource constraints that may impact project timelines or quality.
Risk Management
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to meet project objectives.
- Proactively address any obstacles or issues that may arise during project execution.
Third Party Management
- Work with 3rd parties to ensure they understand the initiative's scope and goals.
- Work with 3rd parties to ensure on-time and quality completion of project deliverables.
- Coordinate internal and 3rd party schedules for content creation, photo shoots, and campaign deliverables.
About you
- 5+ years in project management within a marketing environment, preferably in a startup setting.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
- Exceptional organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Asana, JIRA).
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
