What You'll Be Doing
Building a world-class tech team by collaborating with team members through pairing, design review, and code review
Rolling up your sleeves and actively contributing code alongside the team
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be deeply involved in technical execution. As the team grows, evolving into a more strategic management role while continuing to ensure technical excellence.
Leading the development of financial services products (transfers, cards, lending, etc.) from the ground up and ensuring that the systems are production-ready
Collaborate with other teams (product, sales, operations) to understand and solve our customers’ pain points
Integrating with banking partners, third-party APIs to enable features like virtual cards, international money transfers, and accurately track financial data and make payments
What You’ll Need
10+ years software development experience (including 4+ years of managing engineering teams)
Fluency with Java/Kotlin
Strong knowledge of modern web technologies and system design & architecture
Experience in building and scaling products from scratch
Management experience and developing the skills and talents of a strong and capable engineering team
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice To Have
Working experience across a breadth of our infrastructure, languages and stacks
Experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup
Experience at a fintech
Familiarity with payment products (card issuing, money transfers, credit, etc.)
