๐ Your Role at a Glance: The key ways you'll bring value to the team
The RSS team is a new, high-growth channel within Wayflyer. To meet surging demand, weโre looking for an Account Executive who blends sharp sales instincts with foundational financial analysis.
Joining this expanding team offers a unique opportunity to scale alongside the channel and shape its future. In this role, you will:
Prospect, qualify, and close new opportunities with SMBs (retail, software and services) across the US and UK markets.
Nurture a partner referral network to maintain a high-velocity pipeline.
Master the art of sourcing leads that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), working alongside your dedicated BDR.
Provide critical feedback from brokers to help us refine our product and beat the competition.
Partner with internal stakeholders, specifically our Underwriting team, to ensure deals move with both speed and quality.
Thrive in a high-volume environment - our top performers are currently hitting 200-300% of their targets.
๐จ What Makes You a Great Fit
You have full sales cycle outbound experience, selling to SMBs.
Highly organised and capable of managing a rapidly growing book of business.
You have a proven track record in a 100% net new business role.
A strong grasp of commercial concepts like cash flow, working capital, and the nuances between debt and non-dilutive capital.
A consistent history of smashing ambitious growth goals in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
Youโre a team player who contributes beyond your own quota through deal support and knowledge sharing.
A genuine interest in helping founders and finance leaders scale sustainably.
Familiarity with MEDDICC (or similar frameworks) and a structured approach to deal qualification.

Our headquarters operates a hybrid model. The number of in-office days depends on your team, but the majority of teams and our SLT are typically in 3-4 days per week, giving you valuable exposure to senior leadership.

Home to around 30 employees, our brand-new London office also runs on a hybrid model. Youโll often find our CEO working alongside the team with regular visits.
