Senior IT Systems Analyst

League One Volleyball (LOVB) is reimagining women's sports. Launched in 2019, our company is a mission-led sports performance, training and media enterprise that will change the game of volleyball in the USA and empower new generations of female athletes.
It is a groundbreaking time for volleyball in the US with our historic triple Olympic Gold medals in Women's Indoor, Beach and Sitting Volleyball. Volleyball is already the #1 most played girls' youth sport. There are 38M current and former players today. Of major sports, it's the only one that is women-first (~90% of players are female). But the volleyball market has been almost entirely missed by traditional sports investors, brands, and media.
LOVB is capturing this opportunity by creating a strong club business, and from that built-in audience and fandom, is creating the best Pro League in the world and a digital ecosystem that will connect all aspects of LOVB. In this role, you will join a mission-driven, roll-up-your-sleeves team of innovators and builders who have come together to change the paradigm of professional volleyball and women’s sports.
Job Summary:
The Senior IT Systems Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the technology infrastructure across both LOVB Clubs and LOVB Pro. This role ensures smooth onboarding for new clubs, reliable in-venue systems for the Pro League season, and responsive IT support for staff and athletes. The position blends hands-on technical expertise with cross-functional collaboration, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and optimized for high-performance environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Club Technology Operations
  • Lead the onboarding of newly acquired or developed clubs into the LOVB technology ecosystem.
  • Configure and optimize network connectivity, Wi-Fi, domain/email systems, and point-of-sale infrastructure.
  • Ensure secure and scalable IT environments to support ongoing club operations.
  • Serve as the technical liaison and primary point of contact for club IT needs.
  • Document IT configurations, SOPs, and escalation processes.
2. Pro League Venue Systems
  • Oversee installation, testing, and operation of in-venue systems during the Pro season (January–April).
  • Manage critical systems including Hawkeye (ball tracking), VolleyStation (scoring), broadcast infrastructure, and ticketing platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve live connectivity, hardware, and data issues.
  • Coordinate with the central Tech team and venue partners to ensure seamless match-day operations.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with Club Ops, Pro Ops, and Technology teams to standardize systems and improve performance.
  • Identify infrastructure gaps and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Support IT vendor relationships and coordinate regional deployments as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced networking, systems administration, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Platform Proficiency: Google Workspace, IT admin tools, and cloud/hardware environments.
  • Sports Technology: Familiarity with scoring, replay, broadcast, and ticketing systems preferred.
  • Communication: Clear documentation, fast triage, and decisive problem-solving in live settings.
  • Operational Agility: Ability to work across multi-site, remote, and in-venue environments.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in IT systems or infrastructure roles, ideally with multi-site or remote support experience.
  • Prior experience in professional or youth sports preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements (Remote):

  • Frequent travel required for site visits and event support during Pro season and for club onboarding.
Location:
US-based; must reside in one of LOVB’s six Pro League cities: Omaha, Atlanta, Austin, Salt Lake City, Houston and Madison with frequent travel to Pro match venues and regional clubs. Relocation not provided.
Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range listed reflects the pay range for this position. The annual base salary for this role is $110,000-130,000 plus our comprehensive benefits package.
Salary offers are made based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. Individual pay is adjusted as performance is demonstrated and sustained at increasingly competent levels over time.
