To scale club marketing efforts efficiently, LOVBYouth seeks a Youth Marketing Intern to handle tactical marketing execution and coordination, freeing up team capacity for higher-priority work and creating a development opportunity for talent from the LOVB club ecosystem.

Role Overview

The Youth Marketing Intern will provide hands-on support across marketing operations and social media execution, helping keep campaigns, programs, and day-to-day marketing initiatives running efficiently. This role plays a critical part in supporting the marketing team by handling tactical execution, organization, and coordination — freeing up time for the team to focus on high-priority initiatives.

The intern will also support social media efforts by helping publish content, engage with the community, and amplify stories from across the LOVB ecosystem. This is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to gain real-world experience across both the operational and creative sides of marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Operations

● Support day-to-day marketing operations to help keep campaigns, programs, and initiatives running smoothly
● Assist with coordinating and tracking shipments of marketing materials to clubs, including packing, shipping timelines, and delivery confirmation
● Maintain and update internal trackers, spreadsheets, and documentation related to marketing initiatives, shipments, and inventory
● Help organize incoming requests, timelines, and assets across multiple marketing work streams
● Support campaign execution by helping coordinate assets, deadlines, and follow-ups with internal teams
● Assist with keeping shared folders, tools, and resources organized and up to date
● Provide general operational support to the marketing team to improve efficiency and ensure priorities stay on track

Social Media Responsibilities

● Support day-to-day social media engagement by monitoring and responding in comments, messages, and overall engagement on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
● Help amplify club, athlete, and community stories across LOVB social channels
● Monitor social media trends and best practices to help inform content ideas and recommendations
● Assist with creating, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms
Optional / Based on Interest & Skill Set
● Edit short-form video content using mobile or desktop editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere)
● Assist with light graphic design, photo editing, and writing social media captions (Canva, Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop)
● On-site photography, videography, social content capture for big events like LOVBFinals, USAV/AAU Nationals
