Job Overview
The Materials Coordinator supports Moove’s Miami operations by managing the day-to-day flow of vehicle and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts. Reporting to the Lead Materials Coordinator, this role ensures accurate inventory tracking, timely supply of parts, and smooth logistics operations that keep fleet operations running without disruption. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in preventing delays or shortages.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory and Materials Management
Maintain accurate records of vehicle and OEM parts inventory.
Support operation and continuous improvement of the parts tracking system.
Receive, label, store, and distribute parts in alignment with operational needs.
Logistics and Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on orders, deliveries, and returns.
Assist in monitoring inventory levels and flagging potential shortages or excess stock.
Operational Support
Help streamline warehousing and logistics processes to ensure efficiency.
Partner with operations and engineering teams to ensure timely parts availability.
Follow best practices for inventory handling and control.
Safety and Compliance
Ensure safe storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in materials coordination, supply chain, or inventory management; automotive or technical parts experience preferred.
Familiarity with inventory management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Clear communication skills for vendor and internal coordination.
Basic understanding of hazardous materials handling is a plus.
Ability to lift and move materials up to designated weight limits, stand and walk for extended periods, bend, reach, and perform routine physical tasks associated with warehouse and parts operations.
