About the Role
As Remote Operations Trainer, you are responsible for the capability and compliance of our remote vehicle operator team. You will support the design and delivery of programmes that ensure every operator can monitor live AV deployments, respond to remote assistance requests accurately, escalate safety events correctly, and meet our quality standards from day one.

This is a specialist training role embedded within the remote operations function. You will deliver onboarding, certification, and recertification programmes for remote operators and team leads, work closely with the Remote Operations Manager and Quality Controller to keep training content current, and use audit findings and performance data to continuously improve the programme. You will work across rotating shifts to reach teams operating around the clock.

What You’ll be Doing

Training Design and Delivery

  • Support the design and delivery of training programmes for remote operators covering platform navigation, vehicle monitoring, remote assistance protocols, disengagement response, escalation procedures, and SOP compliance

  • Develop structured onboarding programmes covering system tools, intervention rubrics, documentation standards, and safety protocols

  • Deliver periodic recertification and refresher training aligned with platform updates, SOP revisions, and quality audit findings

  • Create and maintain training materials including SOPs, assessment frameworks, platform guides, and scenario libraries

Simulation and Scenario Training

  • Deliver scenario-based training using simulated vehicle interactions to prepare operators for complex and edge-case situations

  • Contribute to and maintain a library of training scenarios drawn from real operational data and quality audit findings

  • Run calibration sessions with operators to ensure consistent application of intervention rubrics and escalation protocols

Performance and Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with the Remote Operations Quality Controller to translate audit findings and MisOp trends into targeted training interventions

  • Monitor training completion rates, assessment scores, and post-training quality metrics to measure programme effectiveness

  • Identify opportunities to improve training content and delivery using Kaizen principles to continuously improve; propose changes to the Training Manager for review and approval

  • Update training content promptly following platform updates, SOP changes, or new partner requirements

Compliance and Records

  • Maintain complete, audit-ready training and certification records for all remote operators and team leads

  • Ensure all programmes meet Moove AV, partner, and UAE regulatory qualification standards

  • Flag any operator performance or compliance concerns to the Remote Operations Manager and Training Manager promptly

Shift Requirements

  • Rotating availability across Morning (07:00–15:15), Evening (15:15–23:30), and Overnight (23:30–07:00) shifts to deliver training across all shift teams

  • Five days on, two days off including weekends and UAE public holidays

  • Schedules adjusted based on operational and training needs

What You will need for this position

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in remote operations, AV operations, or a 24/7 control centre environment

  • Prior experience in a training, coaching, or quality assurance role strongly preferred

  • Deep familiarity with remote assistance platforms, intervention protocols, and data logging tools

  • Strong understanding of AV system behaviour and remote operator best practices

  • Able to deliver engaging training for shift-based, operationally focused teams

  • Data-literate; comfortable using quality metrics and performance data to identify gaps and measure training impact

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess operator performance accurately and deliver feedback constructively

  • Fluent in English; Arabic a strong advantage

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field preferred

  • Equivalent combination of technical qualifications and relevant AV or automotive experience may be considered

What Does Success Look Like

  • All remote operators certified and platform-ready before their first live shift

  • MisOp rates declining as a direct result of training interventions

  • Recertification completed on schedule with no compliance gaps

  • Training content always current and aligned with live platform and SOP requirements
