About the Role
The AV Operations Supervisor (AVOS) owns the shift. Reporting to the Operations Manager (AVOM), you are accountable for everything that happens on the ground — driver safety, fleet deployment, and operational output.
Safety is the baseline, and performance is the expectation. This role is for someone who delivers both, every shift.
You get your drivers and fleet out on time and safely, then run the show from there — overseeing on-road performance across a fleet of vehicles for the length of the shift, coordinating with Central Operations, and making sure no minute or mile is wasted. When something goes wrong, you handle it fast and correctly
What You’ll Be Doing
Shift & Team Management
Manage your shift's driver deployment - confirming attendance, assessing fitness to operate, and ensuring every vehicle has the right person behind the wheel
Run shift briefings and debriefs - daily objectives, system updates, safety alerts, and any regulatory or policy changes
Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers in the field - handling real-time queries, troubleshooting operational issues, and providing on-the-spot guidance or approval when drivers need a decision made
Own the direct performance management of your drivers - setting clear expectations, documenting concerns, and escalating where performance falls short of the standard
Work closely with Central Operations to maintain full visibility of the deployed fleet - ensuring every vehicle and driver is accounted for, safe, and productive throughout the shift
Track and own aggregate shift performance - mileage output, utilization, and operational efficiency across all drivers.
Safety & Incident Response
First point of escalation for on-road incidents, vehicle malfunctions, near-misses, and emergencies - respond quickly, coordinate with Central Operations, and escalate correctly
Enforce compliance with all safety SOPs, driving standards across the team at all times
Complete standardized incident and near-miss reports accurately and within required SLAs, then submit to the Operations Manager for review and escalation
Continuous Improvement
Identify and communicate recurring issues and contribute to process improvement initiatives or emerging training needs
What You’ll Need for This Position
Valid Singapore Class 3 or 3A driving licence
Minimum 3 years of experience in transport operations, fleet supervision, or a closely related field
Proven ability to manage and motivate a frontline team in a shift-based, safety-critical environment
Strong situational awareness and an uncompromising commitment to safety
Clear and confident communicator in English, particularly under operational pressure
Must be available and willing to commit to a fixed shift pattern - early morning, afternoon, or overnight - as part of a 24/7 operation
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in ride-hailing, logistics, commercial transport, or autonomous vehicle operations
Familiarity with AV technology, telematics platforms, or fleet management software
Experience with LTA regulatory compliance in a commercial transport context
Additional language proficiency (Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil)
