You’ll set the strategy & roadmap for marketing efforts across both digital and offline channels to drive profitable new customer growth. This person will own a large, multimillion dollar growth budget across the channel mix to hit our acquisition goals, and will bring an analytical, data-driven lens to bring our growth & marketing strategy to the next level. They’ll partner closely with brand, product, and analytics teams to deliver a seamless overall direct-to-consumer experience. This role will report directly to our VP of Marketing.
What You'll Do:
Design and execute the growth strategy and roadmap to scale Smalls’ acquisition efforts across marketing channels
Evaluate opportunities to improve efforts across marketing and digital product to deliver trial goals to our subscription business while optimizing CPA and ROI
Develop testing roadmaps at the channel level to ensure we’re taking big swings to drive growth, beyond optimizations
Drive conversion rate optimization roadmap and lead work streams across marketing and product to improve this metric
Oversee a multi-million dollar annual budget and drive the forecasting & planning for investment
Partner with product, retention, and analytics to implement tests to improve the overall DTC experience from ad engagement, to trial, through retention to increase the overall ROI
Bring your expertise in tactical channel management to develop a high-performing growth environment within the team
Manage external agencies and partners to deliver goals in certain performance channels (ex. Affiliates, Podcasts, TV)
What We'll Love About You:
You’re a cat person. You love cats and cat culture. You’re obsessed with testing new products for your own cats and know how to talk to cat people.
You have 6+ years of experience or equivalent in a Growth role, with proven results growing a DTC business
You have experience driving results across the marketing funnel, with hands-on experience in at least two of the following: paid social, Google platforms (Search, Shopping, YouTube), television (linear, streaming), audio (radio, podcasts, Spotify), direct mail, affiliate marketing, and SEO.
You are a highly analytical thinker, with a test-and-learn mindset. You describe yourself as analytical, a critical thinker, and enjoy problem-solving.
You enjoy being in the driver’s seat. You can effectively lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritize high-impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward. You drive swift progress and action toward our company growth goals, and resolve any ambiguity to do so.
You’re comfortable with growth tools, like GA4, Looker, Heap, and digital ad platforms.
